I can play Guerilla mode solo. Cannot get anyone to join me. MP is still non-functional.

Mag, I'd say you're right. Save your money. Or get the 360 or PS3 version, which actually works I would imagine.

I tore myself away from the GRFS campaign to try a couple hours of multiplayer tonight ... LOVE IT!

I’m usually a multiplayer guy anyway, which says a lot for the SP campaign. The multiplayer has quite a learning curve though. Lots of tech and a REALLY busy hud. I thought the BF3 hud was busy until I tried GRFS.

I’ve been concentrating on the first gameplay mode called Conflict. Love the freedom of movement, cover system, prone position, evasive rolling maneuvers etc.

PFunk, from what I read on the internet, Guerrilla mode requires your UPlay friends to join you. So your friends couldn’t join you for some reason?

So Linebacker... your able to complete a mission in MP without a disconnect? and have the stats save? and move on to the next round/game?

You'll be the first that I know of... congrats.

Yup, no problem. Thanks!

Here’s some random first day newbie MP footage of me sucking really bad since I’m experimenting and trying to figure out all the nuances of the game (might take a while to upload) ...

I’m hoping that a third party develops a proper server browser for this thing and that “Ubisuck” sorts out the rest of the problems you guys are having.

The good news: conflict is the least of the MP modes. Try Decoy and Siege.
I hope someone will post when this thing gets patched (I'm looking at you Magnum wink ). I'd really like to see it on pc too. The SP alone is worth it, I want to see it in proper graphical detail. It's simply fun to go through. It's a shame that with 3 Ubisoft groups working on this that they still can't get it running right on pc a month after the console release. It's not like the 360 and pc are all that different.

I had cancelled my 360 pre-order after hating the multiplayer beta, but I just started playing the PC version today. Finished the first two missions so far with no issues whatsoever. (knock on wood) Game looks pretty decent to me, and plays ok. I think I like it better than I expected to so far.

Aside from ARMA, I think this is as close to a tactical shooter as we're going to get, seeing how Ground Branch is looking unlikely to get funded through Kickstarter.

Try MSI Afterburner magnum and see if lowering your memory Mhz by just a small amount makes any difference. Works for me.

I was able to get it going by lowering my resolution from 1900x1200 to 1680x1050 -

I guess certain nvidia cards have trouble playing the game in "HD" resolution... this at least is what it says in one of the many stickies on the ubisoft site.

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/686369-Bugs-Report-Hardware-compatibility-%28excepted-input%29

Worth a shot if you haven't tried it already, I had constant crashes before this and haven't had one since I lowered the resolution.
