How is the "deadline" computed? I'd like to donate but see the number is not near their goal. Is the deadline amount include the funds they need to make it worth their time and effort since they are regular folks who have to make a living too. Does that number just reflect what they need to cover their initial expenses? Just trying to understand how it works. Seems with so much desire for it to come to fruition and with the work already done, can't they extend the deadline?
Maybe its just a way to put feelers out to see who is really committed before time and effort is expended?
