Yes, I agree you are biased. wink I think Spain was in much better shape today than in the match against Portugal.

But I fully agree that Germany would have lost as well. And not by a margin of 1:0 this time...

That was because Portugal was the only team that managed to develop a strategy that blocked Spain's
game. The proof of that was the last 5 minutes of extra time when Portugal got too tired and Spain
finally managed to play the way they know.

And I don't think Germany would know how to do that either. If they started the game the way Italy did things
could have gone down the same road for them. Probably not as bad as the Italians were very unfortunate when they
lost that player in the 2nd half.

For me 0:2 or maybe 1:2 would have been more likely.

But that's just my opinion.

Congrats to Spain, bad luck for Italy, unfortunate for the final to turn out one sided like this, but glad to see that Spain played much more interesting than their boring tikitaka without much threat of late, finally they had some decent attack and not just passing the ball around until the defense falls asleep.

Italy seemed to be missing quality finishers to keep the game close, and then with the bad luck on the injury it was over.

Anyhow great tournament, I really enjoyed it and have to hand it to the refs for calling decent matches and not becoming the story except for one or two matches, but nothing like the ridiculous refs of WC2010.

Also the improving quality shown by Germany, Portugal, England, Italy bodes well for an exciting WC2014.

Congrats Spain! And I'm glad to see Torres getting his groove back - at least I hope that's what is happening.

Don't forget the first game between Italy and Spain (1:1) during the group phase. Italy played their best game during the whole EURO 2012, and really managed to neutralize the Spanish offense.

Well deserved win, congrats!

THX to Italy we didn`t needed to play this great team, no chance for us too.

While they looked vulnerable in the group, they finally proved, they aren`t. Best team in the world.

It was enjoyable, watching it amongst the Spanish fans at Palma de Majorca.
