I'm a proud owner of a brand new FCC3 i really like the feel of it but there is less play then i expected (or i tighten the mounting screws too much) i experienced a very small drifting from the center at first install but after a second more accurate HW centering it disappeared completely, after a while i discovered that it was worsened by the c clamp that i use to fix the thing to the desk, I'm working on a support that will distribute loads more evenly but even with the c clamp only a couple of points of drift are there and they can be rid of by a 3% dead zone settings.

Unit iself is identical to FCC-2 ( accordingly to the pictures of the FCC2 that I saw), Arend told me that 2 was no longer in production and the 3 has replaced it when i placed the order.

Is it some big secret?...Are you guys under some kinda NDA?...Is it a violation of the forum's rules? There are no prices discussed here, on viperpits, at his site, etc. What gives? Obviously prices flucuate as material costs do, but it's not like anyone is going to hold him to it. I think we're all just looking for a ballpark number. Can anyone at least say if it's noticeably cheaper than the FSSB mods?

i can say that the price is more or less the same, FCC price does include shipping costs (not customs taxes of course), FSSB I don't know. Choice is dictated by personal preferences, FCC can be set up with some play(like the real thing) if wanted while FSSB can't. FSSB has jumper to set response while FCC sensitivity has to be set up in the cougar control panel.

You're welcome. Force sensors are expensive but once tried you will never go back if you fly a viper and (if nothing goes FUBAR)the sensor should outlast me, for other stuff i have an "usbified" modded F22pro and I'm working on something modular for center mount .

I've never understood that either. It really irks me when prices aren't published. It smells of: one price for you, and a different one for my friends.

I actually didn't put the price because at firs i believed that was against the rules, i mean that people should contact the seller to avoid misunderstandings. But i didn't find such a thing.

A year and a half later since the last posting about the FCC3's price at 320 Euros.... Now 320 Euros is now 402 USD. (plus the cost of a TM Cougar, $250 - 300 used, which are harder to find and cost is increasing) Anyone know what's the FCC3 going for now? (June 2012)
with the TM Warthog stick and split throttles at the 400 - 425 USD range, it would seem to be a lower cost solution That still has TM product support.
So I wonder if the FCC3 has come down in price any? FYI, my FCC1 is still working fine - a quality product.
