Bast, please consider removing a fellow SimHQer's name from your post above. You said yourself in the post that you are not sure if it was the proper name, so would it not be better to just leave it blank?

You peeps need to quit being poor sports, splattering names and IP addresses all over the internet. At the very least, I believe that SimHQ is definitely not the forum to be doing this on.

IP addresses can easily mean nothing when in most cases they are not static, or might be proxies.

While 74th_Bast_IP and I were having a nice conversation via Teamspeak yesterday, and discussing things we have noticed, I became suspicious that there is a person who is masquerading as **several** other pilots and causing trouble.


We are now on a quest to capture the USER IDs of team killers. Player names and IP addresses can be changed but the User ID will nail down the offender(s).


Folks, let's not post player names, IPs, User IDs or any other information about suspects. I will discuss this with Eno - that we will share our Servman ban list with other server operators, as long as we can login to a server and chat with the admin.

Last Friday I was really angry and I lost all objectiveness and started this discussion in a different post. I believe that it is needed. But I got conversion from all the fine folks around here and realize that private messages and closed conversations are the way to work through this. The solution is to find the person(s) responsible for the team kills and get their User ID on the ban list and then the rest of us can enjoy what we are here for.
