Whilst the subject came up - one thing we can reveal is the rockets in WOFF are improved too, a lot more like WW1 ones you will find. Always good for a laugh smile

Well that more of less does it for me, first I discover my spawns don't stand much of a chance, Now my beloved Rockets are history. I wonder would the Balloon mission allow a Rocket Loadout in 1918 as history would say No. Good thing my XP machine still runs perfectly . . . I foresee a need

Rockets are still fun, but if all you want is respawns and big rockets Uncleal might be a good idea.

Repawns suck eggs, and if you choose that old mode mostly you are missing 99% of OFF anyway so stick with P3 might be a good idea in your case.

Bit daft to be annoyed it's getting better with cooler WW1 immersion. You can always fly v lots of aircraft in QC in WOFF you will have a ball and thr fights can last a while smile

But get into campaign WOFF will blow P3 out of the water wink

Spawns are a cheap and nasty way of simulating events and interceptions.

We have always been about an immersive real world of activity - our so called 'living world' - and WOFF takes this now to a level we only dreamed about a few years back and indeed what we were able to do then with only CFS3.
Even P3 campaign has no spawns - WOFF will be no different except that what is happening in runtime campaign missions in WOFF is even more real and more believable - a complete new level has been achieved.

WOFF QC now has been expanded considerably too, to allow the casual gamer the opportunity to have quick immersive WW1 type combat scenarios delivered up in his face, and there are many new modes in QC now as well.
But that is not the heart of what we are about.

A fully immersive real time historical living world in which the player is but simply another pilot...

Oh yes and WOFF now has improved WW1 rocket implementation to better simulate the WW1 rockets as oppossed to the more accurate and longer ranged WW2 variety that were implemented in P3 (due to the fact that that was all CFS3 could support)

Soon (and I know I keep saying this) but soon we will release a list of features - and I know any serious gamer will be impressed with what is now already a reality in WOFF.

Sounds like the CFS3 engine offered by far more, than the CFS3 sim ever showed.
Since you are not the wordy type, I KNOW, how much this announcement weighs.

And since I had always felt a lot of this is being in OFF already - how much greater
will all these points then be in WOFF ???

Man, I have no fingernails left to chew - How soon is soon? readytoeat

Well then by those guidelines, I don't consider myself a Serious Gamer, as I enjoy getting my whistle wet, and repeatedly killing my opposite number.
Along with searching for trains in CFS3 QC while armed with rockets. And Phase III of OFF is the best at that.

There was a time back in Phase II when I used to fly with a bowling towel to dry my sweat off my joystick, but I've aged since then, my eyesight is no longer as clear. When I saw what was formerly an aircraft some 900 yards out, yet my TAC remained clear. It was then proven to be a FLOATER in my left eye. Time to hang up the goggles as far as seriousness was concerned.
To say nothing of a general slowing of reaction times, along with my hit percentage dropping to 16%

I'll purchase WOFF to attack a Zepplin again, Phase 1 was long ago. And to try my hand at Gotha Hunting whatta use for P3 Rockets. Plus whatever other little goodies you guys came up with
