Took my son on Father's Day.

Not such a great show, but fun nonetheless.

Pictures aren't great either. Mainly was taking them of HIM with the aircraft as background...but it's a look at the main attractions there.

I took a ride in a B-24... $450 is totally worth it to be able to experience it.

You can search the archives here for the report of the first air show I took him to when he was 3 or thereabouts. Brutally hot day, and when the highlight (for ME) of the show came, the F/A-18F demo, the roar of the low passes made him cry (he wouldn't wear the ear protectors I brought) and I had to hightail it to the parking lot, covering his ears, missing the part I really wanted to see!

Here it is:

Since then, there haven't been any good jet demo airshows around. Willow Grove is closed, or at least not hosting the airshows anymore. The shows at McGuire stopped quite some time ago. Maybe Atlantic City in August.
