So I finally made the PS3 purchase. Can anybody recommend any games that are PS3 exclusive? I have GT5 already.

Uncharted series - Adventure/Action - 3rd person - Fantastic
God of War series - Adventure /Action - 3rd person - Fantastic
Killzone - FPS - Great
MLB The Show - Sports - Fantastic (if you like baseball its an absolute must!)
Ratchet & Clank Series - Adventure/Action - Great (kind of a kids game but I still loved them)
Hard Rain - Adventure - Pretty good (light on the action but the story is intersting, multiple endings, a little short though)

That's all I can think of right now.

One thing I will say is that I play mostly SP on my PS3 because the MP does not compare to XBox Live IMO.

Good recommendations from Slash, I would also add one more which is a download bundle from PSN:
Wipeout HD + Fury expansion pack Bundle

Pretty fun futuristic racing title which has great looks and sounds.

Infamous seemed to be pretty popular. I'm looking at getting another console here pretty soon, haven't decided on which one just yet. PS3 seems to be the cheaper option.

I went with MLB the Show. I will definitely be looking in to those other suggestions but I am good for now.


The good thing about the PS3 is not only did I get and new console but I also got my first Blue Ray player!

Slash pretty much nailed it with the exclusives. (although it is HEAVY Rain, not HARD Rain)

I just picked up Heavy Rain, Infmamous, and God of War 3.

I've played Heavy Rain and Infamous so far and they are very enjoyable! Heavy Rain sure has the atmosphere and quickly draws you into the story and tention and emotion. Love the rain and just walking around that apartment while my kid watches cartoons and flippin on lights and such.

Infamous has great free roaming and building climbing/scaling and the animations that go with them are great. Sort of reminds me of Psi-Opts on the original xbox with powers to throw and such. Not sure it has telekenisis yet but its fun blowing cars and people away with the shock wave.

I haven't played it yet, but hear GOW3 is great with some of the best graphics.
