Stories like these would make a great documentary. We've seen many angles of WW2 covered in great detail (from the sinking of the Bizmark to the signing of the peace treaty with Japan on the deck of the Missouri) except this one. These ladies have a very interesting and heroic story to be told.

The 8th AirForce museum near Savannah Georgia has a section to the women transfer pilots.

Thanks Chucky. I'll check it out. Most of the videos I've seen making passing acknowlegement, but no in depth coverage.
