Quite self-explanatory subject.
Is the sdefmape.bmp file the one displayed as the map on the HSI?
I find hard to read the symbology on the HSI when using the Iraq world and the map is displayed.
At first I thought the map was rendered by the graphic engine, as the rest of the terrain, but after using different lanpXX.pcx files (yes, even the pink one :P ), the map on the HSI keeps te same desert color.
Then I tried to turn the sdefmape.bmp into grayscale (and yes, copied it into the DATA dir or used the Worldswapper), with no result. It keeps showing desert color.
It's not the map that shows in the mission builder either, since that map keeps showing in color too.
Any idea?
