I'll be joining as soon as I aquire ARMA2:CO... waiting for a good price as I am short on cash. Hopefully steam will have a sale soon. The price seems to have been driven up by the DAYZ mod.

BIS is actually having a sale on much of their catalog over on their Sprocket store. 25% off on all titles. Looks like $25 US for Arma:CO. I went ahead and grabbed the Czech addon for pre-order the other day. $9 if you order now.

Yeah I saw the BiS sale but they raised the price %10 over the steam price and then give you a %25 discount so in reality its really only %15 off. I'd rather buy direct from the Devs but $20 plus the expansions for $5 a piece would suit my very tight budget. I'm waiting patiently.

Obviously you have to work within your fiscal limits, but personally, this is the one game (or series) where I don't use Steam. I know people make it work fine, but I find it easier to play this without Steam and it's extra layer of complication when playing with mods/addons. Steam is great, don't get me wrong, but to me (and it's just a personal preference), paying a little more to play all the mods/addons for Arma2 is worth the extra couple of dollars to not have to deal with Steam.
