OK... what the hell does it take to kill one of these things... I know the basics, hit it on the flanks and rear with alot of units... you can't see it in the screen below, because this was the after effect... but I had 3 tanks on the right flank of that King Tiger that was out in the open, 2 tanks on the left flank, and I even towed an AT gun to it's rear... all 6 platforms didn't do one damn thing to that King Tiger, at close range on the flanks... no matter what I used i would get 0% penetration, 0% kill... ZERO percent, 2 squares away on flanks... I tried anyway, had too... in 3 turns the King Tiger destroyed all I had... so now I'm pretty much screwed... oh and BTW, I also shot from a priest and a mortar team before the armor attack, without any results... I mean, I technically and tactically had this game, but that one ridiculous King Tiger, dominated... what the hell do you have to do to kill a King Tiger in this game?

(The King Tiger was were my cursor is, and i had it surrounded.)

Offer him half the gold . . .?

PBI - "Poor Bloody Infantry" - up close and personal, was the best way I could find.

Ya, I'm getting sick of this game just because of that unit, lol... and a few other things starting to bother me the more I play.



Backup did nothing either... so this King Tiger has taken out 80% of my force. lol

So far I think the best thing to do is avoid them and hit them from far until their morale gets below 50, then go in and keep at them but I rarely kill one but if you hit them like that, they'll surrender eventually.

That KT gets coming, nothing I can do. lol

Which map/mission is that? MP I'm guessing?

I've been too busy with work and family to start any new MP games but wouldn't mind trying to beat the KingTiger if it's in one of the SP missions.
