A-7's are there to kill You, not the other way around!
Thanks to God, A-7 is one of my favorites, I just goes angry, because I meant f-14's...
So when you switch into FM, missiles will probably loose tracking due the small RCS of the F-14's...
(check "Z" panel, KRO signals)
When the target is less than 80 km, the missile is going straight against the target, an at those particular scenarios, when target descent, so does the missile, and sometimes it burns too quick... So, we can manipulate it's path by switching FM on (which gave the above mentioned effect), which results in a longer straight line flight on higher altitude. Of course the risk of non reacquiring the target from GSN exist....
