It is worth remembering that English isn't B6's first language and things often get a bit lost in translation so I'm not reading that much into the 'as they are discovered' comment, however, if anything is said today (for which I'm not holding my breath) odds on it will be more along the lines of 'a few issues were discovered and we don't want to release something that isn't right...it will be ready when its ready' sort of bumpf that we are all so familiar with.

Scott, you know that the updates are just a copy and paste from Luthier and not B6's writing?

The bottom line was that instead of using a crystal ball to look 5 years into the future and developing the sim to meet the projected hardware at release, the team kept on rewriting the graphics code as new 'toys' became available to use. The end result being an extended train crash that is still happening. That and the almost anal attention to detail with going off at a tangent to produce 'Tanks over Dover' in a flight-sim.
Laughable really.

There may be other campaigns out there, but when you fly them, if the AI and comms are still well and truly broken you are still banging your head against that brick wall ... and yes Trumps, I do have a major life outside of CloD, that's why I haven't flown the damn thing since October last year. I work abroad for months at a time, and each time I come back there is still the same old rhetoric from the devs and fanbois alike. I thought I read recently that you've bought over $300 of Rise of Flight aircraft DLC Trooper? Is that right?

Does this have anything to do with Clod?

I agree alot has been lost in translation over many years. Hopefully there will be many more years of posts saying they are still working on it, as at some point there may be enough workable content to partially satisfy most of us. Again this patch will make or break the development. If successful it will make the sim playable, and make available more personnel to fix, and add further content at a quicker pace. I'm not holding my breath either.
