3instein Member Registered: 08/08/11 Posts: 158 Loc: Falkirk,Scotland	Hi folks, Just a little while ago the doorbell rang and as my friend had just left I mistakenly thought it must be him,back as he maybe forgot something. I had been playing for about 4 hours and had a good load of goodies and had managed to get to NW airfield and was having a good sniff about when the bell rang.I quickly went to answer the door thinking I would only be a tick......but alas it was the Jehovah Witnesses....and well,you can't just close the door in their face (shoulave tho). I spent about 10 mins at the door trying not to think how my character was doing,but alas when I got back I was dead,man what a bummer as it was the best I had done ever. Have any of you suffered similar distractions that lead to your doom? My distraction was a phone call...came back and pistol was out of ammo, and some guy approaching. Really quite p**ed off about it as I had been doing quite well, had me a decent rifle and some varied kit. Had drink and food aplenty and was in a triangle of Deer Sheds and towns with water. Then I decided to go down stairs for a drink and some food ( in real ife not virtually, lol ), rather than logging out and enduring the log in lottery I thought I would run over to a nice remote tree line, found me a nice tree and went prone. No one about so off I went. 30 Mins later come back to see a Z chomping on my face swiftly followed by the egg timer of death....bugger! Edited by Ratcatcher (06/15/12 01:04 PM)*

I searched all the east hangars and tower and was making my way to SE barracks and entrance. This is what I remember "Guys I'm getting pretty tired so I'm going to search these barracks up here then find a safe spot to log out". Hours later I wake up with "YOU WERE KILLED" on my screen, I had fallen asleep playing at the most contested location on the map! I'm not sure if a zombie or bandit killed me but I log out now at the first sign of sleepiness! I have a mancave with projector for a monitor so when I play I'm sitting on the couch with wireless key/mouse/headset so its very easy to get to comfortable and fall asleep. I believe some servers run idle kickers. Maybe the game should have your character fall asleep when you idle. After all, I am way up by Pusta and no one is around. The guy on the phone wants to sell me life insurance. I hang up and set back down to the dreaded "YOU ARE DEAD!" message. I should have bought the insurance.
