Hey yall, I know the other helicopters in EECH are kind of supported/un supported......

But my issue is this, the only ones I can figure out how to acquire targets with are the AH64 and the RH66

For all others I cannot for the life of me figure out turning on Radar or Laser to lock targets...

It probably doesn't help that I haven't touched EECH in say 5 years or so, which is making this a frustrating return to duty to say the least LOL.

At this point I'm just trying to figure out of its something I'm doing wrong or if its the game. I use the Realistic avionics but I'm willing to toggle down if it means getting the others to work (I really enjoy recon missions with the OH-58D)

OR if its something I'm overlooking (which after 5 years is VERY possible) can anyone shine some light on what steps/equipment I might be doing wrong?

I've tried numberpad 0 & 9 on both air and ground targets (they're there, but I dont get any form of lock to allow engagement)

Also tried Num / & * but neither will toggle any form of radar or laser

The two airframes I tried it on last night before getting mad and shutting it off were the AH1Z and the OH58D

The AH1Z and OH58 don't have radar, unless I'm mistaken. So you can only use optical systems to target in those ones, and you'll need the laser guided Hellfire K not the radar ones.

So do I have to manually pan the laser designator to it or is it possible to "quick target" like it is with the Apache and Commanche's radar?

If so then I'm screwed on the other helos right now because I dont have my old flight sim setup anymore so no Track IR right now and my mouse is constantly tied up with visual panning :((

No, quick targeting only works with the radar. I *think* if you've already identified targets using FLIR, then you can quick switch between them, but I'm not sure as I've not played the game for a while either. If the laser is on, and you've locked the FLIR on the target, then the target will be painted with the laser as well.
