Found the crossbow right off the bat......

Hard to hit anything with the crossbow sights, IMO. But you can recover the fired ammo and are completely silent. Gets my vote so far.

AK47 Kobra has been my best find so far.

I'm a little more more concerned about the Mac and his in game chat!

That was the tamest chat that was going on. Now that the game is so popular, it is hard to find a server that doesn't have that element on it. I logged off after I found a place to hide out.

I really like the crossbow, but you gotta get close and aim for center mass.... then go retrieve your bolt.

I am a m4a1 cco with Aimpoint red dot right now but my previous character had a m16a2 with acog which was a dream. I also had a M240 which was awesome vs humans but so loud that zombies from the next town over would aggro on you.

My squadmade had a mp5sd which was awesome and now is running around with a DMR. DMR mags seem to be very common so he always seems to have ammo for it.

I'd have to say this is my best find as well. With the way we (other simhqers) have been playing we'll eventually have a decent selection at base camp.

I'd let you know if I could ever find one... I spent an hour scouring an airfield today, found tons of ammo for every weapon under the sun, but no guns!

I've been using the silenced M4 with CCO for some time now, very happy with it. Ammo is readily available in military locations and thinning out the Z population with a silenced weapon while sneaking around is just great.

And for PvP IMO there's nothing better than a silenced, fully automatic weapon.

I've tried several sniper rifles (DMR, SVD) but they're far too situational to use for my tastes to justify carrying them around in the backpack.

Best weapon so far i think is a Czech sniper rifle. Found a Lee Enfield also but didn't want to lose my scoped weapon.

I want an silenced M4 so bad but Im afraid to go looking for one solo.

Anyone want to go on a SimHQ barracks raid?
