EDIT: *Sorry I misread your budget of 125 dollars John, its a little over but I would still recommend spending a little extra if you have to and can manage it.* Chances are that someone might point a better and cheaper deal out Stateside or in Canuckland,....not sure where you are from mate.

ATI (an Nvidia competitor) do some good cards too....but in my experience having used both in these sims and others, you will generally have less hassle and issues with the Nvidia cards in the IL2 series in particular (please don't flame me any ATI people, not saying ATI runs it bad....but there is more grief and its true lol smile ).

Cheers. cheers

Thanks,

I found the asus geforce gtx 550 ti 910 at newegg as you suggested for $120 +shipping. Unfortunately it only drives one monitor and I have two. I found an Asus GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit for $230 and it appears to drive two monitors. Think it's worth the extra $$$'s ? I also found PNY VCGGTX560TXPB GeForce GTX 560 Ti Video Card - 1GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), Dual DVI, HDMI, DirectX 11 at "tigerdirect" for $205 w/ free shipping. It's cheaper if it's OK. \what do you guys think?

First, be aware that your present card is a single slot item, as most were
back then, but the 560 is dual slot. It only uses one set of sockets, but
occupies two positions worth of card space. This can come as a surprise,
and you must ensure you've got room to fit it on your MB. (An important
consideration that is sometimes forgotten among all the other technical
details).

I can't claim any great expertise in card performance, other than what I
glean from a pretty cursory examination of the summaries at sites like the one
I linked in the previous post, nor am I fluent in anything to do with dual
monitors, such as whether there is any benefit from using them with CoD, so
I can't say what sort of benefit you'll gain from the 560 over the 550
other than noting it sits three bands above the latter in the hierarchy map
I linked, which means you would notice the difference. The second digit in
nVidia product numbering always indicates performance, higher being better,
8s and 9's being top gamers, 5s and 6s adequate gamers, 2s (I can't remember
seeing 3s) being generally not enough muscle.
