We were in Road Kill just a couple minutes ago and everyone got disconnected and the server was stopped. I reloaded DCS MP and Road Kill.

That seems to be a Friday night thing...

So there was a server crash at 2130 MDT. The mission was Road Kill.

Restarted Road Kill and it is fine now an hour into sim time later.



Peter joined tonite and played a good part for the Blue Team. Yeah! for everyone.

Ahhh ok phew!! I know I haven't been on in a bit and was hoping it wasn't that long. Haven't played even in other servers in a while, I was on vacation for a bit and also the weather has been nice here. Getting the itch to play again though so I'll be around.

Also I just finished a couple hours in Roadkill (WC did you turn off the tooltips? :)) and mopped up around the base a bit, esp the anti air. It was dark so it was fun!

So juuuuust in case this saves someone else the pain of flying to a target IDed by another flight member's SPI, avoiding SAMs and other jerks, only to find out that your GBU-31s are paper weights:

I don't use sat bombs from a cold start much and got burned on this today..

tc - there is a way to do an in-flight alignment. I'm not up on it though but I think I could get through it again.

raven and I were practicing SADL targeting assignments, then with tomcat and others in Rampant Bear today. That's the first time I've sent tasking orders out - SADL doesn't get used much IME but its lots better than a simple SPI Broadcast. I found I'm able to enter my callsign in the NET ID stuff but don't know how that will be used - I need to work on this, too, I used the CDU character keyboard but kept getting input errors - I had to use the LTR feature of the UFC just to get a simple 'WC' entered.


The mission started this morning with early successes and the collapse of Roki Tunnel. The coast is still up for grabs.

Heheh I know where that is, good to see ordnance heading at it. My frustration Mavs did nothing very glad I was able to fly that mission too btw, I had a great time except for the GBU-31 mis step.
