More Russian stuff Can they not get it into their heads that many want to see CoD images, changes, just something to remind us that we have a Battle of Britain flight sim.. Are you looking for more BoB flyables then Trooper? Which ones? I don't think they are working on more CloD maps/models at the very least until after the Battle of Moscow expansion is out. As for the update, looks good - in that more variants and the Oct100 is something that's been going on since day 1 and it's good to see it coming. I don't care about more flyables, it would be good to see what state the graphics are in now, has it made any difference to the cockpits at all, has the graphic changes made any difference to how the terrain looks? The changes mentioned are a step in the right direction, but I don't want to see bloody russian crap when I'm hoping for improvements to my Battle of Britain flight sim..

Personally I think the cockpits look good in CloD, and some of the best in any sim to be honest. I agree the landscape is very much an acquired taste thing , i.e. a love/hate. I've grown used to its style, and just looking forward to it performing better in large resolutions (i.e. eyefinity etc). I find the landscape more interesting than, say the DCS stuff that we've had since Flanker 2.0 Roll on that Nevada map update plus the lovely looking RoF channel map. I don't think we'll get any UK Channel significant map updates now, and I've not seen any rumor that they would be coming either. I'd certainly like this 'graphics patch' stage to be over, as it just feels like it's not getting anywhere for ages.

This update is fine for the online crowd, they will get the most benifit from it (if it works and doesn't break anything else).. but for many offliners (who have been waiting for well over a year) there is still nothing fixed to improve our gameplay.. the command system is a complete joke and the AI needs a major overhaul, and lets not mention the useless campaigns.. sigh!

+ = 1C You nailed it Trooper...No tangible proof that it will be any different in another 15 months. Or...whatever BlackSix says he over heard in the washroom.

It seems to me that the dev's are slowly but surely trying to work their way through the issues, sure things could have been better at release and better handled since then, but nothing seems to indicate that they have given up on this game and are still hard at work trying to get the best out of it and will continue to do so for quite a while yet! What's the rush guys, don't you have lives outside of CloD, I never realised people could get so hung up and precious over a game!

What other campaigns have you tried - there are several free ones plus at least two commercial ones now, which have free demos. Here's a very decent write-up: http://simhq.com/_air14/air_524a.htmlHow about the AI temporary fixes here? Might be worth a go? http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3557661/FIX_for_crazy_AI_snap_rolls_in.html#Post3557661As for the default single player campaign, yep it's not very good but there does seem to be other options now. The radio commands to wing-men are also something that does need to get fixed, but I'm not sure it makes the game as bad as people enjoy commenting about.
