Once the mission results have been logged they can be deleted.

There is an option in the config section to delete the log files after parsing

Of course that only deletes the mission logs from a PWCG mission.

The unfortunate side effect of having logging set in the startup config is that you produce log files every time you fly

I just attempted to fly a new mission generated with v10.5 but it failed to launch the mission. I click the Start Mission button in RoF, it goes briefly to the loading screen, then returns to the RoF hangar. Looking around in the RoF folders, I found a MissionIntegrityErrors file in the data folder. It mentions a duplicate object id and a number of objects with entity numbers that were exceeded.

I zipped up the mission and associated PWCG information here:

Mission error

If there is additional information you need, please let me know.

Pat

I found a bug with the airfield at "Cachy".
It's set as "501" in the Airfields.rofcampaign file, when it is in fact an allied field.

Edit: Related to this, Jasta 30 are reported to be stationed at cachy late in the war
Airfield
{
Name = "Cachy";
Region = "Flanders";
StartDate = 11/10/1918;
}

Setting Cachy back to an allied base, means Jasta 30 now appear as friendly in a campaign going past 11/10/18

I need some help with changes and new features. I would appreciate anything that folks can provide.

There are some bug reports about missing cities. The problem appears to be that my "database" (it's really just a mission file with all of the cities and bases included) is old and incomplete. I am looking for a way to update it. Easiest is to simply get the objects into a mission file, but I'm not really sure how to do that. When I open my editor and look under "groups" it is empty. Any ideas as to the best way to regenerate fixed locations?

There was a request for hand signals. Can somebody provide a mission file where this happens?

Are there any good examples of recon and artillery spot missions? In RoFCampaign these are handled by fly-bys or circle patterns, but the game has since been updated to make them real missions. I would like to make better use of in gmae capabilities to make these mission types more interesting.

Summary:
1. Mission file with fixed ground objects (bases and cities).
2. Mission file where hand signals are used.
3. Mission file with recon.
4. Mission file with arty spot.

Brigstock: issue noted. Thanks.

I'm not on my home computer, but perhaps you are looking for the Templates folder, (one level up in the folder hierarchy, i think) which contains all the objects for each map.

For photo recon, these practice missions are available (perhaps you know about them, but i saw they aren't set as sticky, so who knows):

Two very good threads, but in French, about how to use photo recon and artillery gfx objects, are made by Richy here:

1. http://www.efg-squadron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3448
2. http://www.efg-squadron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3446

(i think google chrome, or translate.google.com can make them readable enough, unless of course you know French)

Aren't hand signals controlled by command MCU's.
As in the command "take off" makes the lead pilot signal take off, "formation" command makes the pilot gesture what formation.
AFAIK PWCG already does that due to the fact it has the take off and formation commands in there.

For more in game gestures you'll need to add more commands, ie "Attack", but that'll mean adding more complex triggers like check zones to the missions.

For the missing cities the only way I know is to add the base groups located in the template folder in RoF. You'll find a ArtyCorrection Mission in there too.
