Hello

I've gotten EECH a few days ago, and have been flying around in it for hours straight. Starting to get to know most buttons and systems, I'm left with somewhat of a problem;

When looking around with the HIDSS sensor active, the sensor automatically locks on to any target -somewhat- close to where I'm looking. If there's no valid target around, the sensor just looks dead ahead and doesn't do anything. This disallows me from firing my gun in other directions without always having a valid lock.

If it does lock on to a target, the moment I switch views (to the gunners seat, or zooming in on an MFD with the TADS page active, it automaticly unlocks the target. Pressing NumEnter only seems to padlock the view to the target, but doesn't lock on the gunship itself onto the target.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or am I just misinterpreting the capabilities of the sensor?
