No pressure on anyone in that match then.

Too bad. The Netherlands played well tonight, compared to the other two matches. But still it wasn't great and Portugal was just better. Now it's time to go home, relax and then start focusing on the World Championship in 2014.

Well,

my bet on the Netherlands as the winner of Group B doesn`t came out well....

Denmark played us clever today. The defense was strong and they still had some chances for scoring. Germany always has probs with defensive teams. Greece will be of the same kind, I think. I too think we still play too slow, this will bite back against stronger teams.

Well you shouldn't forget the heat in the stadium. That's one reason why it was slow.

I'm not sure how clever we played. We played defensively because we couldn't keep the ball in possession for more than 10 seconds. smile

Congrats to Portugal. I just saw the highlights from the match and it was a convincing victory. Tough luck for Denmark, the Danish team positively surprised me, as they were stronger than expected. The Dutch team definitely is an enigma for me, I expected them to be much stronger. 0 points... wtf? confused

I fully agree with your assessment. 9 points from 3 matches, more was not possible for the German team. But really good was only the match vs. the Netherlands, so I'm still sceptic about their chances. And now the German team has to play vs. Greece, given current circumstances I expect the Greek team to double their efforts. They must not be underestimated.

I'm looking forward to see if Spain can keep up their game tomorrow against Croatia. They are favorite to win the tournament in my book.

Greece will be hard pressed again against Germany especially without their main striker who will be out from a bogus yellow that should've been a penalty instead, Germany should have an easy one into the semi's.

It will be good to see how Spain does tomorrow, good tournament so far, with great football much better than the world cup so far.

The Spanish team didn't look invincible today.
