hi guys im still working on my modular stick, i ve got a TM x-fighter (b-8 like) and a suncom F15 grip, that I'm gutting an retrofitting with a 10 poles screw on connectors, I'm undecided if put a dual stage trigger or not in those grips, is there someone who knows what king of trigger (single or dual stage)the F4 phantom, the 14, the F15 and the F18 do have?

I'd put the dual stage triggers in, regardless. That preserves the option to use both. You can always leave one stage unassigned if you don't need both.

What connectors are you using, and where did you get them from?

All the listed aircraft have dual-stage triggers. The first detent activates the gun or HUD camera, the second detent fires the guns.

@ CyBerkut im using 10 pin "Amphenol" (is a brand but is what we call them here i don't know the exact standard name ) contacts, they are a little bit expensive (around 20€/$ each) but is most similar thing to the real deal i bough them at the local electronics part store (but if you look amphenol on ebay you copuld find them).

correction I found the connector type, is 02E-12-10S and seems to be Mil-Spec so is actually the real deal, just avoid the plastic ones

You need to have a lot if patcience, i started it when i joined this forum and so far the only completed thing is the usb converson to USB of my FLCS

Hehehe. No problem. I have all sorts of plans running around in my feeble mind, and have even collected much of the needed ingredients... and yet I haven't actually put my multi-use pit together. It's been a long time in the planning and gathering phase, so I can certainly relate.

I have an actual F-4 B-8 stick grip AND the stick, complete with transducer and pin connectors. I traced all the pins/wires so that I could connect it to a USB stick. Only the 2nd stage is wired. There are no pins/wires connected to the first stage.

Could it be that first stage has some kind of resistor in line therefore is not seen by tester in continuity mode?

A resistor in line would give you a higher resistance level, rather than zero Ohms (or close to it). As long as you had an auto-ranging meter, or manually bumped the scale high enough, you'd see something other than an 'open' (infinite resistance).

Now... if there is a diode in there... you might see it as open if you don't try reversing your meter leads to get the opposite polarity. Re-checking the trigger first stage, with meter lead swapping might be worth trying.
