Excellent stuff! Just watching the first video made me feel bloody cold! Very atmospheric.. and I love the fact that freindly archie is actualy white!.. Keep the vids coming mate.

Great stuff, Hellshade! But...do you ever get shot down? How many flight hours do you have racked up in Campaigns?

When I die it's usually because I am flying a plane I am not skilled in, such as a Camel or because I have gotten greedy and went in for a kill that I should have left alone. A few times I have died from AA fire. A few others I dove too steeply and lost my wings, usually in a N17. And once in awhile I forget to look around carefully enough before engaging an enemy or I stay fixated on them too long and one of his wingmen sneak up behind me and deal a punishing blow that causes me to lose control of my plane during the ensuing evasive maneuvers. If you want advice on how to stay alive for a long campaign, I would counsel you to speak with Creaghorn or Olham. They have mastered the art of survival as well or better than anyone.

I started a late war campaign on the German side and we got jumped by Spad XIII's on our 3rd mission. I spotted one taking shots at one of my wing men so I jumped in and began firing away to get him off my squadron mates tail. It worked but man he sure took some rounds! I thought I was going to run out of ammo on him and my shooting seemed fairly accurate too.

Testing out the Bandicam video recording software again. It compresses the video on the fly, reducing the size of the file. Considering purchasing it and using it instead of FRAPS which does a great job recording but is a hard disk space hog because the files are uncompressed. $40 though...

Here ya go Hauksbee. I was running another test of Bandicam flying Fokker DR 1s against Camels and the DR 1 is a bit twitchy for my skill with the plane. Unfortunately the way I fly often leaves very little room for error, especially when making close quarter passes against enemy planes. I was doing okay but I got greedy, as you will see...

a pair of Fokker DVIIFs vs a flight of Sopwith Camels all set to Ace mode. Fun fight. Mic seems to work pretty good. So far I'm really appreciating the smaller file size Bandicam creates as opposed to FRAPS, which is a real HD space hog.
