If F1 2011 is any indicator, then driving without any aids on will be fine. As for allowing a "real feel", I'll have to refrain from commenting on Codemaster's work on the Formula 1 franchise when it comes to that other than saying Mario Kart's about as realistic as their previous works are.

biggrin

Please.. Super Mario Kart is way better than any Codemasters F1 game! winkngrin

Well, there's always been speculation that the Kart that damn dragon drives is a bit overmodeled and Luigi's Kart could use some more grip at times.

In all fairness, there are a couple of things I've had fun with in Codemaster's F1 games.

The Career mode wasn't too bad, although they diminished it some in 2011. It based your future contract offers on your performance throughout the season. I wish they'd expanded that more in 2011, but they focused more on the online component instead and really didn't make MP much better than it was in 2010, just some more bells and whistles instead of actual improvements.

The Upgrade system, if you run a Career, lets you improve your car at times throughout the season, and when you become the #1 driver on your team, you can choose the direction of development that your team takes. I wish they'd had put a "preseason testing" track in and let you start on upgrades a bit earlier. I think it would have tied in nicely with the Career mode.
