Now I see why there are no track DLC for FM4, the track dudes have been busy working on these open road tracks which I would love to have in FM4 instead!
I'm, definitely game for this title as long as they keep the decent physics model of FM4, but if they dumb down the physics it will be just another also-ran NFS:The Run console racer meh!
Either way I hope these tracks come to FM4 as DLC.

FM:H is developed by a different studio, they are just using Turn10's Car Models.
I wish they would add night racing, weather, and new tracks to Forza 4 though.

my Q. before i even consider it... and i still don't know yet... deceat model? cockpit view? and proper wheel support?
because... at the same time EA's new NFS Hot Pursuit... a series i always loved just for the fun, is coming and it's a big open city kinda like Burnout Paradise was/is... two very simular games, competting against each other, around the same time.

E3 2012: Forza Horizon isn't just a watered down arcade racer. Its the game you already love in an open world setting.
Lets hope so.

Authentic Forza DNA The absolute best physics in any driving game available today. Setting the standard for online play. Unmatched graphical beauty. The open-road thrills of Forza Horizon are bolstered by the same DNA that has gone into every Forza Motorsport game. Developers Playground Games have worked to infuse Horizon with unrivaled innovation, while keeping and improving upon the same heralded Forza features you know and love.
It appears to have the same "authentic" Forza marketing speak and BS Bingo words, let's just hope that indeed they are being honest about keeping the good FM4 physics.
Of course I would prefer to have the added tracks and career mode as a DLC to FM4, but of course that would probably make tons of people complain about paying for it as DLC (i.e. as happened for the Porsche add-on).
The more I hear and see about this, the less I want to play it.
Combining music culture and cars doesn't work for me. Every racing game I play, I mute the soundtrack if I can. I don't want to be hearing "WUB WUB WUB WUB" the whole time I'm driving.
For an "action" game, it looks really dull in the videos.
I find myself wanting a new and GOOD rally game after watching the point to point races.

Opposite for me. The more I hear, the more I want it.
Sometimes you want a game where all you do is pop into a car and well, just drive. I've lost count of the amount of time I spent in GTA: San Andreas just driving around, finding places to see, etc.
Which was some of the charm of the earlier Need For speed games, they didn't have circuits, and more the feeling that you were going from A to B. Which I miss.
Cool, night time and off road racing if it came to Forza would make it level with GT5 with just wet weather missing.
of the 65 types, there are several wet surfaces.
Cool so that means they would just have to add wipers and raindrops to the windshield to make it rain in Forza :P maybe FM5, looking forward to doing the Nurburgring 24h weather on like I do in GT5.
