You oughta clean your Heinkels, Mike - they´re as dirty as Pig Pen biggrin
Btw, the fuselage windows of the He 111 are remnants of its time as passenger plane. On the H-6 the four windows(left and right) of thethe fuselage front part were closed by alu sheets and painted over.
(You´re really skinning torpedo He 111s? That´s fine thumbsup )

Fran,

Those machines were kept very clean, it was in the regulations that they be washed and waxed twice a day. Only, some Feldwebel lost (read tossed into a dust bin) the manual that contained the cleaning regs. cool

Oh, and I still have a few more variations to paint...

9/KG 26 was experienced in naval attacks and was reported to have used torps.

Hi Mike,

Stab III./KG 26 had the fuselage code 1H + *D the letters for (*) in green RLM 25 ( = RAL 6000)
E.g. 1H + AD, + BD, + CD , + DD etcetera.
Do you look for particular planes or skins?

Fran, I'll take whatever I can get. If you have any photos or illustrations of 111's from III/KG26 send them my way. And thanks, Danke, for the tip on the Stab codes.

Both 8-bit Glide ready and 24-bit full color squadrons have been sent for posting at Talley-Ho.
