Introduction

Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft is the predecessor German racing series to the DTM.

Format

The series will run 4 consecutive weeks starting next Sunday, 10 June.

The first three events will use the same format:

12:00 - 12:30 Practice and open qualifying for Race 1
12:30 - 01:00 Race 1 (30 minutes)
01:00 - 01:10 Break
01:10 - 01:40 Race 2 (30 minutes) inverted grid from Race 1 finish
01:40 - 01:50 Practice and open qualifying for Race 3
01:50 - 02:00 Race 3 (5 lap sprint)

The fourth event will have the following format:

12:00 - 12:30 Practice and open qualifying for Race 1
12:30 - 01:30 Race 1 (60 minutes...possibly longer)
01:30 - 01:45 Practice and open qualifying for Race 2
01:45 - 02:00 Race 2 (3 lap sprint)

Week 1: Zandvoort 79
Week 2: Norisring 85
Week 3: Hockenheim 79
Week 4: Le Mans 79

Championship

There will be two PRO championships: One for the 30 minute/60 minute races and one for the sprints.
PRO definition: Anyone who has won a class in any SimHQ ILMS or SCES race in 2010, 2011, or 2012.

There will be two AM (AMATEUR) championships: One for the 30 minute/60 minute races and one for the sprints.
AM (AMATEUR) definition: Anyone who has not won a class in any SimHQ ILMS or SCES race in 2010, 2011, or 2012.

Damage multiplier setting: 50%
Fuel: normal

Time compression: normal
Start: standing > starter call for green
Restarts: 1 (any driver can call for the restart, but it must be called before the leader completes the first lap)
Driving Aids: Traction Control 3, Stability Control 1 or 2, Clutch + Shift
Qualifying: Private (you only see your car on-track)
Setups: open (please share!)
Free settings: not applicable
Drivers View: Open
Virtual Mirrors Available
Parc Ferme not in effect
Car selection: No duplication of cars
All cars in the mod are eligible, and custom skins encouraged!

The ruling is... One car change anytime during the series. Once changed to another car, you have to stay with it for the series remainder.
You can't take an already spoken for car. If you have a custom paint, transfer it to your new car and send it over by next Thursday at 0600 GMT.

I'm going to try to make some of these, perhaps not all (depends on level of spouse rage).

I need to try out the cars before I decide which is going to fit my inability the best.

I've always run the BMW 320 so far in this Mod and I love it. But time for a change:
