Japanese planes

This game has a HUGE number of flyable planes!

So, what are we looking at, here? Is this game going to have about 300 flyable airplanes? I'm looking forward to this thing more and more.

Sure, they'll have them. But......

A game with planes, that works is at least a big step in the right direction.

They won't be flyable unless you get the "experience."

So what's the problem ?


It's the same as having kill streak in Aces high that allows you to fly the end war planes (me 163 me 262 etc), and instead of loosing the ability to fly those planes once you die like in Aces High, you keep your level.

That's nothing like Aces High. The perk planes are optional, you can buy them regardless of streaks.

However, you can also fly any other normal non-perk plane.

Not so much with this game. Oh, and there are other issues that make it very arcadey but I can't discuss them here.

Last time when i was flying in Aces High i couldn't fly me 262 untill i had 20 kill streak without dying.




I don't mind this system, I usualy fly with 1 plane only. So i will unlock the plane from the side which i like most and stick with it.




I played it and in settings you can set it to be sim, also Natty if you played it, you should know that is closed beta and already how it looks, works and what is planned gives it advantage over other sims.

I played it and I was disappointed.

Would be good to hear what it is you're missing, perhaps in Gaijin's dedicated Beta forum?

I was reading some where else you need to have to be connected to the internet to install YuPlay program in the background. Thats disappointing. The PC I use for relaxing amd playing is not connected to the Internet.

It´s an MMO (massive multiplayer online) game, so internet connection is certainly required.

The main selling point of the software is MMO but it seems like they are also going to provide a content for singleplay/coop.
You would still need to be logged into your account via internet though.

I hope they make it obtional like IL46 where you can fly on the internet or just single mission without having to use the internet. That would make it more flexible and user friendly and it would make more consumer interested in your product. There will be more consumer buying your product. I hope you are not force to register through the internet to be able to fly in this new Sim.

Many new games have connection to the internet as a mandatory requirement before you can play them.. it's nothing new..
I have many games on steam for example, and have had absolutely no dramas.

I still think it should be optional as many time in our life we do not have internet available to our disposal. I just gives the program more accessbility. Its not drama but common sense.
