Thank you all for a very SimHQ welcome. I look forward to getting to know each of you (unless you're normal), and cultivating friendships based on mutual interests, character flaws, and a sick need to annihilate whole divisions in order to feel good about yourself.
My sim experience thus far:
Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy (with
Commonwealth module),
Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942,
IL-2,
FSX,
BOBII,
Rise of Flight,
Silent Hunter III and
IV,
Theater of War: Kursk, and
Lunar Flight. I'm a WWII nut, with a sweet tooth for air combat and C
ombat Misssion type sims.
Oh, and yes, I'm a bit of a nutter: When my kindergarten teacher asked me to define love, I replied 'love is the sweet smell of a magnolia flower on the threads of a Tiger tank after it runs over the peace activist holding it'. She told me that was very original and creative. Then she called the police. I sincerely hope this won't predispose you towards avoiding me like an escaped mental patient (I did apologize to the nurses afterward, and my doctor says I'm stable enough on my new medication to participate in social activities again).
