Very good portrayal. They got the flight gear right too. Note the chamois leather switch-cover on the mouthpiece. That bit alone which is attached to the face mask would set a collector back in excess of £800 - if you can find one. Most of the in-flight footage was taken from the 1969 Battle of Britain film
The ability of the newcomer to stay with his leader was crucial to survival in those initial scrambles.
