Is there any way to show the fuel quantity on the A-10 HUD or, if not, somewhere on the screen. I'm practicing air refueling and want to see how much fuel I've taken without having to glance down to the quage on the lower right. Small point but it would help.

No, there is not. Glance at the gauge.

I bet the rate is a precision constant so a stopwatch could stand in for quantity.

That could help, and there's a timer on the HUD at least for navigation, but you have to do some mental math.

In RL you'd request some amount of fuel and the tanker would give you that much, AFAIK, but you'd still need to monitor to make sure the equipment is working right.

Thanks everyone. I'm getting better at this air refueling thing so I may yet be able to just glance down. However, I'll do some experimenting to see if I can calculate a flow rate and post those results. Should be interesting if others can corroborate.
