WOW! There’s cheating happening in an online FPS?! NO WAY! LOL C’mon guys, man up and deal with it. I personally couldn’t care less, since cheaters are usually very weak at actually playing the game. Find their weakness and kill them, or better yet, find a better server.

The best one I saw the other day was where a guy spawned on an aircraft carrier and then launched himself as a rocket! Off he flew like superman but with a rocket sound. Not a case of lag or some such as I saw him do it again and he was spouting smoke! Kind of cool and funny actually as it's no much of an advantage.

I personally couldn’t care less, since cheaters are usually very weak at actually playing the game. Find their weakness and kill them, or better yet, find a better server. Well that's the problem right there, people that could care less. What's the point of the game if people can hack and no one does anything? Whats the point if EVERYONE needs hax to balance the field?? There are very few "good" servers where people tend to work as a team and accomplish objectives; so when someone jumps in and starts getting headshots from spawn and it empties the server then that kind of ruins the whole fing thing. People aren't mad about cheating in an online FPS; they're mad because nothing is being done about it.So basically people need to hack to catch the hackers...wtf is that about lol! When I was playing Counter Strike Source there was always a problem with people hacking; but the servers/clan I was apart of always had at least one (usually multiple) live admins on at any given time. Hell sometimes admins would join just to watch suspicious players and record demos to make sure someone didn't have toggles or a hard-to-see hack (wallhax seemed to be the hardest to spot). Unfortunately most BF3 servers never have an admin on, so by the time you catch them, report, and something is done is sometimes many hours or even days (if at all). Pretty bummed I bought this game in the state it's in...

Ever since I started playing multiplayer shooters back in '96, there have been cheaters an hackers. That’ll never change. I think you just have to watch out for who you play with. I guess I don’t experience much hacking in BF3 since I stick to the smaller servers (16 – 24 players) and there are a good bunch that I usually play on. If you join some 32 or 64 player servers with a few weirdoes in it, your mileage may vary Keep in mind that I’ve been playing BF3 online for the better part of 300 hours now (ouch! ) and I love the game. I consider it the funnest (is that really a word?) multiplayer shooter I’ve ever played.

I agree with Linebacker.
Choosing your servers and opponents may well decrease the hacker-a**hole pest. Next to that, BF is in essence a more serious game than CoD. Not that I hate CoD, but it's a whole different ball game. I have both series.

i have crappy selections.. lol... i look for between 14-24 for TDM, any more than that and its too crowded, i spawn and have 3+ people firing at me and die.
I tend to trya nd join friends first, last night i played with genBrien, 2 rounds were good, then i let one of my friends play as I had to tend to some issues on the phone, and he stunk it up by camping, lol.
after that i left home, and came back late last night, tried to play TDM, and this server had soo many effing rules... G3 = Auto Kick M26 = Auto Kick AutoShotgun = Auto Kick Tact. Light = Auto Kick Spawn Beacon Abuse to Get on Top of Buildings/Cranes = Auto Kick
So... I couldnt even use my G3.. no biggie as im running through engineer to unlock all that stuff and the G36C, then I'll move to Sniper or Support, havent decided.
Anyway.. all them rules.. and when the clan that owned the server all came on, and made it so they were on the same team, they all used tact. lights, 1 whole squad was up on the crane on nashir, 5 of them had the auto shotties and 320 launchers... but they auto kicked for RPGs

Heh, we had a cheater pop in one of our games and oneshot ppl with a sniper rifle, everytime. We waited until there was one death to go on the map and kicked him. We had a nice laugh and he posted a youtube video of the match complaining about how we are a bad server that kicked him.

seems the patched Nerfed a lot of the sniper rifles, while making a few weapons overpowered. which explains why everyone is running around with 320mm launchers now.
