Hangar screens in 1.28c

Hi all! I understand that 1.28c is a bit outdated now, but this version is still my favourite, since it maintains a good balance between all those wonderful new features and the original EAW "look and feel". So I stick to 1.28c (plus exe from "EAW1.28c_JoinMayhem05" for rudder pedals) and everything is just great... Except for one little thing I would like to change - hangar screens. The point is that 1.28c uses new versions instead of some original screens even if "OldStyle=1" flag is on. For example: That's how Fw-190A hangar looks in vanilla and in 1.28b: http://s8.postimage.org/ft7hfenoj/SCRN0000.jpgAnd that's how it looks in 1.28c (or in EAW1.28c_JoinMayhem05): http://s15.postimage.org/jm41jtsnd/SCRN0002.jpgBut most of the hangar screens are still original... Is it possible to somehow force the original screens to be used always?

I could be wrong, but what your pics show are the default "inside" and "outside" hangar screens for the 190A. Both get used, and which one depends on the time and location of the mission. Not all planes have both, but several do. Jel

Strangely in all those years I have never seen those outside hangers in earlier versions Even in France I always had the inside one. Are those really from the stock game?

Yes, they are default EAW. Look to the FW190A, they are exact the same, just other hangars.

Funny, when you start thinking that you know everything in EAW... But 1.28c exe definitely changes something, because with earlier versions most of airbases in France still give the internal nahgar screen.

Hello Dornil,
I am new to the forums (though I've been reading them and flying EAW for years), and like you I'm wanting to stick with 1.28c for now, but I would love to have multiple controllers for rudder purposes. You mention an "exe from 'EAW1.28c_JoinMayhem05'", which I'm guessing was an early test for what quickly became 1.28d and enables the multiple controllers .ini settings. I have been all over the internet looking for this file and I can't find it. Could you point me in the direction of locating it? Thanks!

EAW1.28c_JoinMayhem05 was a test exe to allow multiplayer pilots to join a game that was already running in "mayhem" or "free for all" mode. 1.28D was a version of 1.28C with 1024x768 screens, which became 1.28E with a whole heap of improvements. Jel
