Back in 2007 I dicoverd OFF. I vent to the forum, not here, but on the official OFF forum. And asked if enyone could mail it to me, that was how it worked then, dont know how it is now, but enywasy you couldent download it from the net. A very nice Italian person was so kind and maild it to me, all the way to Norway. All he asked in return was a postcard from the town I come from.

I got OFF in the mail not long after, happely begun to play it. But before I could send a postcard my father died of Canser at the age of 52. My life was turnd upside down and it was a long time before life begun to be cloose to normal, and still is not and will never be completly the same again. And a postcard to a very frendly and kind Italian was never posted frown , forgoten in lifes harsh realety.

So now, 5 years later, I sudently stumbeld over a old cd whit OFF. And it all came back to me. I realy hope that Italian person, that I dont remember the name or username of, freqent this forum, asvell. Or someone mabe know him or of him. I sinserly apology for never sending back the only thing you asked of me, this smal token of gradetude, a postcard. I hope you are here somwhere, and I whould be so happy to send you a postcard smile

Oh, the days of OFF Phase 2 - for me, it was a friendly Canadian - Typhoon - who sent it
all the way from Canada, without charging anything. Thanks again, Tony!

Damn, that touches me - so it will explain everything to him, if he reads it.
Perhaps you want to look in "OFF Pilots Maps", and maybe write to him over at Combat Ace forum too, Grinder?
The only Italian we have on the Europe map, is Cavalliere. See here:

http://combatace.com/topic/44370-off-forum-pilots-maps/

Write it there too, and perhaps he is still there sometimes.
If not - you have tried it. And I must say: if I was him - I would more than forgive you.
Touching story.

Grinder, welcome back home! Life has a way of causing us to change paths abruptly at times, usually not in the direction we want to go. Like Olham I am touched by your story and desire to finalize the deal with a postcard thanks to the gratuitous individual that sent it to you. That speaks volumes about you as a person and I for one hope that your return is long lived as you will fit well in this community of exceptional human beings.

Big congratulations, Grinder.
Men often find this one of their hardest to ask questions.
They are afraid the answer might be "I'm not sure" or even "No".
But you did it and won! Great!
