Think I'm gonna wait a few weeks until things smooth over. I'm big on SP so I want the experience to be right.

We have a winner. One more question to go!

First correct answer emailed to me -- not PM'ed -- wins a Steam Iron Front auth code.

Why does the SimHQ Land & Armor Combat Editor love this screenshot?

You will be pleased to know that you are incorrect. It works identically to the High Command module found in ArmA2/Operation Arrowhead. The instructions to set it up are absolutely identical.

I'll have to give it another try - maybe I was looking in the wrong place. That will double the value of the game for me if I can get that working.

Yes, I'm wrong.

Thanks so much, it's my favourite way to play.

I don't mind paying for games before they're ready for release as long as I'm told so, as I was with DCS A-10C beta and Carrier command. But this release was neither ready for release nor marketed as such so I am hugely disappointed. Especially since I don't have any performance issues with Arma II CO. Amd the SP triggers are so buggy it feels it hasn't been tested at all. Or if it was tested the reported bugs were ignored.

Hoping the performance issues and SP triggers will be fixed with coming patches. But if this is considered release worthy I for one is of a completely different opinion.

I'm having good fun with the campaign so far. I stumble over some bugs here and there and the controls drives me crazy sometimes but overall it's pretty cool. A lot like a hollywood war movie I think. The german voice acting is pretty good too, I'm just waiting for someone yelling "STEINER, STEEEIIIINNER!".

I would much prefer if the missions were more open and realistic. There are too many instances where I just end up trying to beat the game. Some of the go-there-quickly adds excitement to the game but just running from one waypoint to the other waiting to trigger something is not my cup of tea. If it was, I would be playing call of duty. The step by step instructions for each feature are very good and I hope to see some more on mines and stuff later in the campaign. Right now I'm trying to survive escorting Herr Wolf who apparently believes tactical movement is best done by sprinting everywhere. I die a lot.

I've spent some time in the editor and always end up creating something which I would call a moving diorama. Just a big battle and then drop myself somewhere to watch the action.

The tanks are a lot better than in vanilla arma I think. I had a great duel with a T34 in my Stug yesterday. He nailed me with a loud CLANG and I think I lost my track after that. My crew and I got out ok and then made a rush for our own lines. We made it and I got a panzerfaust from a dead and managed to get a kill. Exciting stuff.

I would love to have a stug/tank campaign. Just moving with the front line re-enforcing the infantry line here and there. It would be great if you had to do some refuelling/rearming and setup night camp. Not just action commanding but actually running the unit.

Overall I think it's a must buy for anyone who has some interest in WWII and the eastern front.
