Hello all,
Just installed IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 v 4.08m and have a problem with cockpit view...

The only view I have is rt rear..No matter what I do as far as programing my joy stick in game..tried removing joystick and just using Keyboard commands,,still have rt rear only.,,if mouse is moved to view front and center cockpit instruments,,it starts to pan and then whamO! back to stuck rt rear view...

What's weird is I also have original IL-2 Sturmovik installed and it works fine with exactly same computer set up..

Also have PF stand alone and it also has the same view problem as 1946...

I've searched around and haven't found any answers yet and was hoping someone might have a idea as to what the problem is...

Do you have any other analogue devices connected, like a racing wheel and pedals?

Might be the "horizontal view panning" is assigned to a controller that isn't there. As it's expecting a value halfway between 0 and max for centred view, it responds to the 0 value and moving right. So check if any unknown controller is mapped to that axis.

Open your 'conf' file and scroll down to the [rts] settings. Try setting the 'trackIRUse' to '1', as you see below:

Thank you,thank you,thank you...I have no TrackIR,,,1 was already set in both PF and 1946,,,so I set it to 0,,,FIXED! lol
Been screwing around with this for 2 days... you don't know what you don't know...:)

Now to get em patched up...
