Greetings all...

I am brand new to cockpits. After finding and reading Doug's review on the Obutto, I am very interested in finding a cockpit that will replace my computer desk. I like the new obutto r3volution desk but at $800, just too much. I can see paying under $500 to include shipping and all.

What are the companies that make "cockpits" which can be used for general computer use? Any suggestions on the key words to use in searching?

Many thanks!

Erm, why not build your own? With the right tools, you can make a great cockpit and with the investments you've put into your tools, you have the ability to modify/tweak your cockpit as you see fit, or make a whole new cockpit altogether.

Let's just say with my initial tool investment, I can make two or three more pits for less than £100 each.

If you don't have money for the revolution, why not go for the Obutto Ozone? I have it, and it does everything I need it to. Highly recommended, this coming from someone that sits in front of my comp all the time.
