It feels very lack-lustre and I am not keen on the modes to be honest. Blitzkrieg doesn't make any sense and no one seems to go for the points, just play TDM.

Hopefully user made missions will make it better for me. All I want is a big battle not this Battlefield stuff.

Also, the net code seems very patchy and I very rarely get into a game and if I do there aren't enough slots to go around. Again, hopefully patches will fix it but it just doesn't seem to be gelling with me ATM.... frown

I don't enjoy those types of multiplayer missions either, by and large.

I've completed two COOP missions in the traditional SimHQ Arma 2 missions style, they are on the server now. They are playable with between 6 to 11 players. If you get enough players, give them a try.

As I was playing it earlier (albeit briefly), I was surprised that the Blitzkrieg mode was Battlefields "conquest" mode but with worse graphics, less stability and a clunkier control system.

The game is clearly more Sim than action, so why use a "Battlefield" style game mode?... I still like the thought of it but at the moment I need to be play it as part of a team to start feeling the love I think.

I haven't tried it online yet as there were no servers with a decent ping for me here in Oz.
Is there a team domination style of mp game, this would be a lot of fun I think, and was always one of my favourites with ARMA II, it really encourages teamwork with the right bunch of guys online.

Cheers
Craig

I feel like this is one of those games where who you play with makes a huge difference. I can see a bunch of like-minded sim enthusiasts getting together and having some great games. bottles

Welcome Charon smile

Yep, it's just a really nice WWII base platform to have good MP with. A squad on TS/VoIP makes a huge difference, and while PvP is fun for a bit I think it's real strengths is the team stuff.

Thanks! I actually haven't picked the game up yet, but have been keeping a close eye on it and will soon. Maybe the SimHQ gang will play regular team games? smile

Since the only MP mode I care is Co-Op and if Co-Op is working well, this is what really matter to me! I couldn't care less for any "Battlefied mode" or any other TvT modes for that matter wink

Just had an amazing game of CO-OP on the 29th server, although it was a public match it was very fun watching the tanks engage, and the enemy flank and proceed to wipe the floor all over our disorganization.
