It is often NOT necessary to immediately think of a re-install.

OFF has two buttons in "Workshops", which made a reinstall unnecessary for me at least twice.

If the OFF Manager is corrupted, the button "Reset OFF Manager" should help.
If it lies deeper, in CFS3, then also press "Reset CFS3".

I recommend to try this BEFORE going through a full de- and re-install.
OFF has Master Copies of important files, which seem to be copied and
made into the basic files which have gone haywire.

But before all this: deactivate all mods.
When everything works again, you could try to re-activate one mod after the other
and see which one causes the problem.

Thank you all for your input and suggestions.

In the end, I had to do a complete re-install for both CFS3 and OFF.

"If the OFF Manager is corrupted, the button "Reset OFF Manager" should help.
If it lies deeper, in CFS3, then also press "Reset CFS3"."

Those were my first steps which did not work. And I had not done any mods ever.

I slowly worked my way down from the least intrusive steps to the most severe one at a time and kept getting the same message. I even did a complete re-install of OFF first and still had problems and began to suspect something was amiss with CFS3 - just a gut feeling. After doing both again, everything is now working as normal.

The sad part is - I had actually kept enough pilots alive long enough to start getting claims verified. One even had earned a medal! My first successes.....now I have to start all over again. Live and learn. Oh well, it keeps me from running the streets.....haha.

Glad to hear that OFF is back in working order, Aroth.

Now, if only we can convince you to try a few mods... grrr
