The attention to detail is impressive. I love the random trajectory looks just like a back yard sky rocket launch.

Oh God! Lol! Everyone is going to want to carry these. We'll be dodging rockets everywhere during dogfights.

Those bombers are gonna get it now! It depends on how accurate they are. In Il-2 rockets tended to be too accurate. On the Warbirds server we ended up having to kick people for using them against bombers.

Who ever would have thought it was a good idea to attach rockets like fireworks to planes made out of wood and linen?

These should literally be big bottle rockets, without any boom. I'd expect about as much damage to a plane from the rockets as firing a 1 inch by 1 inch cardboard tube at the planes.
Balloons, on the other hand, would ignite from the rocket penetrating the balloon and then igniting the balloon's gasses with it's flame.

The wings of the planes in ROF are covered doped load-bearing cellophane. It only takes a couple of bullets to rip the wings of most aircraft. One bottle rocket should do it. Spoon

it will be usefull in combat if you can sneak behind enemy and fire at will BAHAHAHAH can't wait to see the results XD I wish I had written it down, but from the local archives I took out a 1920's edition of Albert Ball's biography. In one of his combat reports he states exactly that, sneaking up on someone and launching his rockets at him! Whoever called Ball the "deadly schoolboy" was bang on... And not to be a prig, but it was doped canvas...

They are difficult to aim so will be interesting in using them in a aircraft engagement - but I'm sure it'll be done by someone

Off Wiki... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Prieur_rocket"... the rockets were fired electrically from the interplane struts supporting the wings of biplanes via a cockpit switch. The switch would launch all the rockets consecutively. The rockets were generally fired at a range of 100-150 metres with the aircraft at an inclined dive angle of 45 degrees. The steeper the dive the greater the trajectory and the more accurate the attack. Attacks were made in the direction of the length of the balloon and against the wind, the pilot taking aim via the plane's existing gun-sight. However, the ignition and discharge of each rockets did not occur immediately and a delay varied slightly from one rocket to another. Thus the pilot had to continue to hold the target in his gun-sight and the dive continued until the last rocket discharged". As if I didn't tear off my wings often enough going into a dive. Now I have to sustain one until all rockets are fired. I'm in trouble. Cheers, Slug
