Pretty cool little 13 minute film. I guess people who are already afraid of flying shouldn't watch itpopcorn ...

1080p available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwuYkAO27DE&fmt=22

Wow.

Dash 8's at 36,000'..

Twilight Zone setup...

A hot flight attendant (do those exist anymore??)

Very strong curtains..

Pilots doing that squinch back in your chair thing to simulate G-forces..

Kevin James as the co-pilot..

Jim - if you are going to hit the wipers..hit the washer fluid too...

Run Chloe Run. Granted..the length of the aisle is a finite distance.. But run anyway.

Jim. The FFDO. At least he didn't shoot himself in the leg. Save a bullet for Kevin James Jim.

What class fire extinguisher DO you use on an alien tentacle??

I'm unclear - was the wet squishy sound at 8:00 the squid thing or Emma? (She seemed keen on her passenger..until he went all John Lithgow on her..

Clearly the door was "armed and crosschecked"..shouldn't that squid have eaten 80 feet of rubber raft??

"Noooo....!" (keeping the dialog straightforward..)

At 8:33 he leaves leaves the airplane and enters a Linkin Park video (Rock on!)

Emma..at 8:55 finally gets hit by the .45 ricochet from the FFDO.

At 9:25, the alien enters the aisle. I can't figure out why the passengers are so upset. While Emma might look attractive, she is atypical of most grizzled old flight attendants. The alien at 9:25 should look far, far more familiar to all of the passengers. If she scowls and says they are out of pillows, blankets, and that they don't have dollar bills for the vodka tonic you ordered, she should probably be hired since she is clearly qualified for the job.

At 10:12 I start to suspect that little girl will stay in the LAV for 10 years surviving on soap and pretzel crumbs until Sigourney Weaver comes to rescue her.

By 10:38, all persons on the plane except for the little girl have been turned into Neo Conservatives or Code Pink members..hard to tell which..

"One of those solar flares" - note to self. When I go NORDO for 20 minutes and the F-16s show up on my wing..pull the old "solar flares" excuse out of my hip pocket. Yes!!

At 11:13 Kelly McGillis makes a cameo.

If you freeze the frame at 11:35 there is a slight arousal factor that cannot be denied.

But..but..where is the giant flying shark?

I can't wait to see this film in 3D.. Sign me up!!!!

popcorn

Pretty sure I would actually pay money to see Beach's version.

Well, Netflix version anyway.

My options are this:

1) Continue drinking margaritas and watching You Tube links on SimHQ.

2) Stop drinking margaritas and contemplate cleaning up the carpet where my 2 year old son decided to remove his diaper, poop on the floor, then roll his front loader back and forth through it. This is a true story. Picture to follow.

Emirates, KLM... Avoid British Airways and Air France at all costs.

Cheers
