I've got nearly 3 quarters free of a WD Caviar Black 1tb drive.....I always uninstall stuff I'm not playing and don't play loads of games anyways. Someone told me that the drive would run better this way and if you don't have much space left performance can be affected. Is this bollocks? Probably, lol. Just took their word for it. I don't download "E-books" and all that malarkey (I'd rather read a proper book, thanks very much hehe) and watch films etc on DVD.
