This should be interesting:
Lappy:
C: 136 total, 25 free;
D: 48 total, 15 free;
E: 44 total, 30 free;
Desktop:
C: probably has 40 free; D: closer to 80; E: around 40 and F about 60; RAID0 G: ought to have about 120 or so. (500 + 300 + 3 x 320)
7 External drives! Probably about a TB or two spare all told across them. (2 x 1.5tb, 1 x 250, 2 x 320, 2 x 250)
The main problem for me isn't so much the amount of spare space, but *where* the spare space is, as I've designated particular hard drives to do certain things. For example, my 320gb drive with photos probably has about 30-40gb left, and that is... about one airshow. On the other hand, my work archive has about 500gb free (1.5tb drive)... and nobody wants to walk round with a wagon full of hard-drives, USB and power cables...
I also appear to be a digital pack-rat...
