No need, Uncleal.

http://combatace.com/topic/72736-calling-uncleal/

I'll do the extra mile everytime I'll go CA and visit both.
OBD deserve our support, wherever they are.

Word from ODB is SimHQ will remain the official forum. They're done moving, whatever we do is up to us.

It's funny, I got fed up with Internet Explorer and installed Firefox, but I'm still learning where my bookmarks are, because I never listed them alphabetically, and I have to hunt for them. So while I'm swittching to Firefox, I still have IE on board too, and guess what!

I can be at the CA forum and the SimHQ forum at the same time!!!

Having a favourite is fine with me, I have a preference too, but the bottom line is I like both and nobody is forcing me to choose.

(And yes, I know I don't need FFox and IE to look at two forums at the same time, but they just happen to be here in front me).

I will still pop over sometimes of course, and I really do appreciate SimHQ for hosting when they did...but, I'm just not ready to 'move home'

Sad really this has in a way split the community. Members like UK not being at the official forum feels odd.
The only way to try and keep the community together or to attract people away from CA for OFF is for the OFF team to only post official updates here, that way peoples habits will change and the major community will be at the official forum which to me feels right.

Wodin thats what we will be doing as we have said in other threads, - not to avoid CA - but because we are a small team and cannot visit more than one place.

SimHQ is where we will stay!

UncleAl, you should have a look over at CA - the admins invite you to return, under your old name even.

As for Widow and others: I understand it is about the feeling of home - and feelings can't be argued about much.
I also have that "home feeling" with CA, but I still think, it should be possible for me, to visit both SimHQ
and Combat Ace.
It is all only just one click away, if you bookmark both fora.

Not really Jim, it's just a setting of the ground rules. Now I know

You must realize, I see it as a Win, Win for me, I'm able to offer infomation when it's appreciated, not for modding the files, as I'll do for myself but I won't speak of it.

When you've gone through "dealings" with these folks, I assure you it's not nonsence. And NO Names are being used

I find that you offend very easily, as is your right

Please allow me to continue with mine

Indeed, Lou - they could simply switch to American time after 11 PM,
which would gain them another 5 - 6 hours. Simple as that!
Lazy lot!

I don't know what the situation now is, but in earlier days this was an extra activity. To be done after your days toil turning the millstone. Add to that family functions, many times folks just ran out of hours in a day. Till PRESTO it was tomorrow
