Hi Guys.

The GEN is driving me nuts this morning, trying to reply to Ralf's post about his Ju52 test.

With Cord's site gone, I don't have a copy of the Ju52 model to check out.

Can someone do me a mail drop of the model?

I have an updated one that I built for DAW including three independent engines.

I'll send it over.

John,

I'm not sure how I set the action codes up the the Ju52.

Also, I'm away today and I don't have the models on my laptop.

however, you can pick up the Ju52 on the Gen's server.

Look in my DAW subfolder.

Hi,

engines always from left to right.
1 = left
2 = center
3 = right.

Greetings,

Knegel

That's wierd. I watched a preserved Ju52 and he started the engines L, R, C.

What he starts 1st depends to the pilots preference, otherwise its from left to right.

OK, but that still does not answer my original question, and that was which engine is 1/2/3?

Hi John,

in EAW we always use from left to right, independent from the plane type.

outer left engine = 1
outer right engine = last engine.

Hi Guys.

I've been trying to reply to the posts on the GEN, but it's so slooooooow this morning. frown

Ray.

I'm using your model from the DAW folder in your folder. There is something wrong with the wing view 3dz. It caused me to have a CTD from trying to fly it, although flying it as an AI, it works fine.

Ralf.

I'll start on the new wing views in the next few days, in the mean time I'll drop you my files which work fine here.

Whizzing for me and I don't have a particularly fast broadband speed. This is quite peculiar. Who else gets slow connections?

Hi Guys,

I have been having internet problems for a while - slow and frequent dropped connections. I have aquired a cheap gadget (£5) called an i-Plate which fits to my BT box (won't work with some boxes and you will not in theory need it with an "Open Reach box"). It is supposed to stabilise the line, reduce noise and cancel out interference from the old ring tone circuit if your box is that old. Seems to be working so far but is supposed to take 2 or 3 weeks before your ISP responds to the improved stability and increases your speed. Mine was running at about 3.5mbs and whilst it varies it is now about 5mbs and has hit 7.5mbs once - may still be improving as it has only been in place for just over a week.

Might be worth considering googling i-plate and looking at the specs and comments. Seems to work for 7 out of 10 users.

Pete
