Just read this on the DayZ forum:

* [NEW] Chance of catching infection from already infected players
* [NEW] Water can be filled in ponds, all water pumps, wells, but not the sea
* [NEW] Forced disconnection saving for abort and alt+F4
* [NEW] Zombie's will investigate player deaths
* [NEW] Adrenaline rush from panicing causes greately increased hunger for a while
* [NEW] Bandaging Sound when bandaging yourself/someone
* [NEW] Coughing sound when you have an infection
* [NEW] Camera Shake when temperature drops extremely low
* [NEW] PROTIP: Use Global Chat/VOIP in populated areas
* [NEW] Fire requires wood to keep burning
* [FIXED] Should not be pellets for the Winny
* [FIXED] Helicopter loot despawning too fast
* [FIXED] Fog is way too thick
* [FIXED] Climbing a ladder with a pistol will cause you to fall
* [FIXED] Zombies not attracted to Flares and Chemlights
* [FIXED] Panic noises going apeshit all the time

Rocket just posted that and some of the added features point towards being able to catch an infection also by other players too.

So, catching infections..... Could be interesting smile

EDIT: Also from Rocket:

The infection relates to you catching a cold. In a normal world this is not serious, in DayZ you are ******.

Antibiotics might be a little rare. I checked the database, only 50 people currently have it in their inventory.

I cant wait for the next patch to clean up some stuff. I really like how he is going to make zombies drawn to flares and deaths.

Yikes...gonna be interesting as I would always go to the sea. Never found too many ponds inland. I know filling from the sea was stupid, but always convenient. Wish that was kept (just think of it as a giant lake).

Well those antibiotics are going to do those 50 people a fat lot of good considering you cant treat a cold with antibiotics.

Water pumps seem to be pretty common and I've found a few ponds but unfortunately even after taking the huge risk of dropping all my gear next to the pond and swimming around with only my canteen, I somehow never seem to get the option to fill the canteen, so I don't think I've figured it out... may have to try it out in the singleplayer mod to test, as swimming around naked while my Alice Pack and Winchester and stuff is in a convenient pile on the shore freaks me out, no easy fight or flight if a bandit shows up.

Do we need to install all of the files? I know in some of the previous ones only some needed to be replaced.
