On Steam sale today, and the DLCs are pretty cheap too. I wonder if anyone has this game and can recommend any DLC? I'm not keen on getting them all, but I've never played 2070 so I have nothing to base my decisions on.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. It interests me, but I know little about it. I'll have to do some research I suppose! smile

3rd-party DRM: Solidshield Tages SAS 3 machine activation limit

For me that was all it took to say no.

And that's on top of Ubi's own DRM. Also there are enough tiny DLC available by now to double the price of the game if you buy them all. Whoever supports this, should not complain if he needs to sdupply DNA samples when buying games in the future.

Doesn't it require permanent internet connection too? - well at least the Amazon Rezension reads as it's pretty screwed up, always trying to connect, running a programm in the background which connects to Facebook and Twitter...

Definitly don't buy on the DRM Level.

Seems like an interesting game to me too, I hope this thread doesn't get derailed into DRM talk.
I found some walkthrough videos on youtube:

(Language warning, but he's got a few parts to it and decent info)

Still not sure if it's for me though.

Thanks guys.

I am interested in the game, and while I agree that DRM is a pain, it is something I expect and live with. I guess I missed the sale for the DLCs, oh well. Still downloading the game now, but love city-building series (Rome, Pharaoh, Children of the Nile) so really excited about this one.

Just got it this week as an alternative to the Sim City fiasco. So far, so good. It was on sale on Steam again, so I got the whole bundle for 30 some bucks.
