Anybody going to get Max Payne 3? I think I'll got pick it up today. I've always liked these games from day one. I remember when I bought the first and was blown away by bullet time. The second one only got better with the still pretty uncommon ragdoll effects.

They tend to be dark and depressing but they're fun. And call me crazy, but I think I'll get the console version for controller comfort though my Max Payne 1&2 are both on pc.

BTW, I still have my old mouse pad that came with Max Payne 1 that says "Do not cross a man with nothing to loose"

I still have my mouse pad too! I use when I travel. While I loved 1 & 2 though, I'm going to wait and see how 3 turns out, given the track record of games in general these days...If I do, I haven't decided the PC vs PS3 argument in my head yet either.

I've just been playing for a couple of hours now and its still the same great max payne just set in a different country. And once again its a nice progression from the first.

Max Payne 1 - bullet time

Max Payne 2 - bullet time and ragdoll physics

Max Payne 3 - bullet time, ragdoll physics and the euphoria engine

played the first one, passed on the 2nd, and will prolly pass on the 3rd.

I might get it when the price drops. Just not interested in it enough to fork out the big bucks yet.

Just finished MP3 and loved every minute!
As always itīs like playing an early John Woo movie!
Only the multiplayer is a big letdown but who getīs Max Payne for the multiplayer!?

Just discovered something cool. If when you hit pause you move your camera stick, it will actually allow you to pan around the in-game engine. Lets you see just how much detail was put into character and weapon modeling.

Finally caved and bought this today for the 360. Played up to chapter 3 so far. Brilliant game. Should have bought it sooner.
